Doing Vegetarianism: Phenomenon of Food Pedagogy

The work is contributed to the study of the phenomenon of vegetarian food pedagogy. The aim of this work is to reveal features and pecularities of vegetarian food pedagogy. The tasks set are: to determine motivational structure of vegetarian food pedagogy, to categorize it's links, forms and functions, and also to reveal differences in food pedagogy of representatives of various stages of vegetarian diet. Separation of followers of vegetarian diet is being held into three stages: vegetarians, vegans, raw-vegans - fruitarians. Analysis is implemented based on 22 deep interviews with vegetarians of different stages (sample model: 8-windows Steinberg model). As the result of the research, there have been made a conclusion that vegetarian food pedagogy passes cultural symbolic code of vegeterian community (wherein having significant differences conditioned with the stage of vegetarian diet).
