Family Gender Relationships: A Case of a Local Community in the North Caucasus

This paper is devoted to studying the problems of intra-family gender-based violence in the local community of the North Caucasus. The goal was to understand why the topic of domestic violence is taboo in a given society. It was achieved through the study of awareness and ways to justify this problem, finding the causes voiced by both women and men according to the women, as well as ways to solve the problem. Such a comprehensive approach allowed us to look deeply at the problem and achieve the goal.
