The Impact of Internet-Banking on Bank Performance

The present paper aims to analyse the possible relationships between Internet banking services, mobile banking services and banking institutions’ performance. Due to the processes of technological development and financial digitalization, lots of financial organizations begin considering creation of their own informational systems. This can be achieved by introducing new delivery channels for clients using the Internet and devices providing access to it. The paper sees this introduction of new technology mixed. The factors, which may contribute to the change in the dependent variable, are the number of visits to the web site of Internet banking services, number of unique visitors to these web sites, average number of downloads of mobile banking application in Google Play and average daily users of such applications. All these constituents are discussed in detail, together with a regression analysis provided.
