Alternative Work Schedules

In a market economy, companies try to reduce costs as much as possible and increase production rates. A dynamically developing business expresses the need for alternative work schedules, which allow to take into account the interests of both the employee and the employer. For employers, it is important not only to have results in the form of work performed, but also to comply with the requirements of legislation to ensure working conditions. With an inefficient organization of working time, an employee may experience problems of a psychological or physiological nature, which will subsequently be reflected in the cost of treatment. However, the correct choice of an appropriate alternative work schedule will help reduce staff costs, increase productivity. The paper provides an analysis of the legal regulation of alternative work schedules in Russia, their advantages and disadvantages, and offers suggestions for their improvement. For example, proposals on limiting the duration of a shift in a shift work, increasing the length of annual leave for working in the irregular working hours. In addition, a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of Germany and the Republic of Belarus is carried out for a more detailed study of the legal regulation of working time regimes, the possibility of implementation of certain rules in Russian labor legislation. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, combining eight paragraphs, conclusion and bibliography.
