Factors of Capital Structure: Empirical Study of Telecommunication Companies in Developed and Emerging Capital Markets

This paper presents the results of a study of the factors of capital structure of telecommunications companies in the growing and developed capital markets. The sample includes 132 companies and two regions: the North American region and Southeast Asia. As the variables were used proxy indicators, and as a dependent or two of leverage: book and market. On this sample the conclusion about multidirectional influence of factors on the capital structure of the companies is received, and also offers on further improvement and addition of a database for receiving more relevant results are made.
