Interconnection between Consumer Behaviour and Household Income in Russian Federation in the Post-crisis Period

Research objective - detection of the main characteristics of consumer behavior of households depending on belonging to the certain group allocated on the basis of a share of expenses on the acquisition of food and assessment of the comparative importance of the factors influencing a share of expenses on food in a household. The empirical analysis is based on data of RLMS HSE of the 26th wave for 2017. Work consists of three parts. The first part is devoted to a theoretical approach to studying consumer behavior. In the second part of the research indicators of consumer behavior of households were analyzed. In the third part, the factors having an impact on the readiness of households to spend a certain share of the income in the Russian Federation for food were investigated.
