In course of the research major consumer financial innovations are identified through news analysis, investments in consumer financial innovation new enterprises analysis and STEEPV factors. On the basis of these indicators scoring of the innovations is conducted and for the identified major innovations in-depth multiple case study research is conducted. Case study approach allows to develop an understanding of the consumer financial innovation development trends and potential effects on both economy and financial system, identify potential arising risks. At the same time, the major stakeholders and innovation advantages over existing solutions are outlined to identify the source of additional value from the innovations. On the foundation of the conducted research regular scanning of the consumer financial innovation environment can be conducted with consecutive interactions among the sector stakeholders for the sake of these innovations sustainable development.
