Audit of Information Systems and Business Processes on the Example of the Company LLC "Standard-Tech"

In the context of the company's continuous growth and an increase in the use of information technologies and services, the organization’s business requires more attention to assets, resources and cash flow. Control, along with planning, regulation, accounting and analysis is one of the functions of the management system of any economic entity, regardless of the type of activity. Seeking to see the real state of affairs, the companies can conduct an internal control by themselves or seek the help of audit or consulting firms, that will conduct a professional independent review of both financial and accounting documentation as well as the state of the IT infrastructure in the organization. The study describes the activities of the IT auditor and the IT audit process on the example of a large Russian company. The aim of the study is to increase the efficiency of IT audit by proposing audit methods based on the use of international standards, best practices, techniques and tools. According to the results of the study, qualitative and quantitative indicators will be calculated for the audit company before and after the introduction of changes, as well as how the new approach satisfies the achievement of the strategic goals of the audit company.
