The theme of love is widely described in the fields of literature, painting and music. However, the study of this phenomenon from the point of view of science still remains low. The main goal of this study is to identify changes in a personality during the experience of first love, in particular changes in the way of life and the image of the world. This qualitative study is conducted using a semi-structured interview with the participation of 10 respondents. The semi-structured interview method is chosen for data collection because of the depth and intimacy of the topic for respondents. With the help of prepared questions, it is important to set a certain vector in the development of the conversation, while giving subjects the freedom of presentation. The content of the questions concerns the nature of the respondents' feelings during the first love they experienced, the duration of this feeling, the changes in their view of the world and the surrounding reality. The interview was conducted with 10 women with a mean age of 22 years. A small sample was chosen because of the expected difficulty of obtaining the information on such a personal topic. Further analysis is carried out using the methods of phenomenological analysis. As a result of the research there is an evidence of the existance of changing in the way of life and image of the world. Results can serve as a theoretical basis for a more detailed study of selected aspects of changing the image of the world and lifestyle. The practical application of the data obtained can be used in the development of methods for psychological therapy with clients experiencing similar feelings. However, the main limitation of this study is the fact that only 10 voluntarily agreed people served as a sample, which may affect the quality of the data obtained.
