The aim of the work presented was to identify the mechanisms of realising emotivity in the Russian language (by the material of masculine speech) at the phonetic level by using computer analysis technologies, in particular through the use of computer programme PRAAT for the survey of oral speech. In the connection to the goal set, it is worth noting that at the theoretical level, the reflection of gender characteristics of men as communicative personalities on the basis of lexical and syntactic levels of the language has already been carefully considered by many researchers. However, the phonetic level of emotional masculine speech in this aspect has not been thoroughly studied and one should not deny its significant role in influencing the Gender Communicative Personality, because in the flow of speech there are definitely special phonetic means of expressing emotions that do not depend on other levels of language. Therefore, with regard to the scientific relevance, in this paper we can find one of the first attempts to study the real phonetic means of realising emotivity in masculine speech. More precisely, we shall see some prosodic characteristics that distinguish emotional and non-emotional male speech utterances. Hereinafter, the results of the paper can be used in computer technologies of speech production and perception.
