This study set out to determine the role of World Trade Organization’s dispute settlement system in international trade law. The main research project objectives are to identify problems and suggest solutions in the field of study. A combined theoretical and practical approach was used to analyze the activity of the dispute resolving bodies and the decisions made in particular cases. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the practice of disputes involving the Russian Federation.
