Personality and Self-Regulation Features of Homeless (Among Visitors of the "House of industriousness Noah")

Although studying the personality of a homeless can give a key to understanding the work of self-regulation mechanisms, previously it has not been in the focus of science. The main aim of this paper is to define features of self-regulation which help homeless people overcome homelessness, level of their personal maturity and how specifically the personality of a homeless person is organized. The study combines qualitive and qualitative methods, and а semi-structured interview. The subjects will be asked to fill in printed questionnaires investigating their ego study, the Big Five model, the level of apathy, hardiness and self-possession. The results are expected to reveal how the personality of a homeless person is organized. The results will be useful for social workers and homeless people. In addition, it will shed light on the work of the process of self-regulation in the situation of difficult life circumstances.
