In this paper, we have attempted to understand the psychological well-being, as a consequence of the influence of the time perspective (ЕP). Thus, to begin with, we conducted a theoretical analysis of both phenomena and their understanding. We have found that TP is a strong predictor of various dimensions of well-being. We then proposed a model of the relationship between TP and well-being through optimal use of time and provided a literature review of relevant studies and theories. On the basis of theoretical analysis, we carried out a correlation study, the results of which allowed us to see the mediation function of the optimal use of free time in models with independent variables of both time perspective and eudeimonic and hedonic motivation. These results are of interest for further detailed study of the role of these variables in other research plans.
