Institutional structure of The Eurasian Economic Union

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is an integration organization that covers primarily the economic sphere. The actions of the EAEU are aimed at achieving the goals set out in the Treaty on the EAEU, as well as in international agreements within the framework of the EAEU. The EAEU is vested with the competence of the member states to the extent and scope established by the EAEU Treaty and international treaties within the EAEU. In order for the EAEU to achieve the goals set out in the EAEU Treaty, as well as in international treaties within the EAEU, and to realize its competences, the EAEU Bodies were formed, which consist of authorized representatives of the EAEU member states or independent officials appointed by them. EAEU bodies are: 1. The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council; 2. Eurasian Intergovernmental Council; 3. Eurasian Economic Commission; 4. Court of the Eurasian Economic Union. The choice of the EAEU Bodies as the object of this study is due to the fact that they have supranational powers in the framework of the EAEU. The purpose of this work is to identify the features of the legal status of the EAEU Bodies, and the main directions of their activities and competence. To achieve this objective the present study the following tasks: 1) an analysis of the history of the EAEC Bodies; 2) an analysis of the legal status and competence of the EAEC Bodies; 3) the establishment of possible prospects for the development of the EAEU Bodies.
