Protection of Employee's Personal Data

As part of the final qualifying work on the topic “Protection of personal data of employees, various approaches to the definition of personal data will be analyzed, and differences between different categories of information will be made. For the study of these issues will be used the methods of historical analysis, a comparative analysis of domestic norms and norms of international law. The main objectives of this work are: the study of the institute for the protection of personal data of employees, identifying gaps in determining the biometric personal data, will also consider the use of such methods of control by the employer for the work process, such as: video surveillance, control of correspondence. At the same time, the issues of liability for violations of the regulations on the protection of personal data will be considered. To achieve your goals. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions are expected: • Making a proposal to change the approach to the amount of information constituting personal data • Making a proposal to increase the subjects covered by Chapter 14 of the LC RF • Suggestions will be made on the use of video surveillance of employees in the process of labor relations • Making a proposal on approaches to the determination of biometric personal data • It will be proposed to increase the penalties for violation of standards in the field of personal data protection.
