The Impact of the Regional Level of Corruption on Over-Pricing in Public Procurement

In my analysis I was using obtained data for the gasoline purchases contracts in public procurement in order to analyze the impact of level of corruption in the regions on the overpricing the public procurement contracts. Also, I analyzed how two types of procurement organizers: customers and authorized bodies, are affected by the corruption level in the region. The results of my work confirm the hypothesis that with higher level of corruption in the region, contracts are overpriced higher compared to market prices in regions.
