Islamic Conception of Human Rights

This research paper is devoted to the study of problems related to the Islamic concept of human rights. The relevance of the research topic is due to the existence of disputes about whether the application of Shari'a norms in Islamic states is humane or, on the contrary, discriminatory. Thus, in order to identify the problems of human rights in Islam, it is necessary to conduct a study through a comparative analysis of Western and Islamic ideas regarding human rights, a comprehensive study of the doctrine, international regulatory legal acts and scientific works of researchers in the field of human rights. In addition, the work will reveal the peculiarities of the Islamic concept of human rights, the tendencies of its interaction with Western human rights standards.
