The Prospects for the Loss Absorbtion of the US systemically Important Banks in the Conditions of Changes in Monetary Policy of the US Federal Reserve
This paper describes the global systemically important banks, especially their regulation in the post-crisis period, as well as their role in ensuring financial stability. Particular attention is paid to the ability of banks to absorb losses during a crisis. The relevance of the chosen research topic is in the increased influence of systemically important banks to the world financial markets. Also, stress testing of the largest us banks was conducted in order to assess the ability of systemically important banks to absorb losses in various scenarios of changes in monetary policy.
