To understand the process of transformation of the image of the talk show host in the cultural aspect, the most appropriate are two interrelated and simultaneously opposing mythologies: the cultural hero and the trickster. Within the Internet space, the interviewer acts not only as an intermediary, but also takes on an additional entertainment function to maintain the loyalty of the target audience, its interest in the content. The emergence of new functions is associated with the placement of the talk show, which arose within the framework of television, in the new medium (Internet), which dictates a different principle of communicative interaction with content consumers.
