In this work we evaluate the effect of the location of the steering wheel on the volume of international trade of vehicles. Empirical results are robust and the estimation prove the main hypothesis of the significant and positive influence of the steering wheel location. Furthermore, we built the theoretical model based on monopolistic competition based on discrete choice model of differentiated products estimated by multinominal logit. This micro-level model also prove the hypothesis.
