Abstract

Title: Strategic Analysis of the Enterprise of Public Catering "X"/

Author: Denis P. Nesterenko, student of the faculty of Business and management, HSE.

One of the most popular topics in the modern business world is a strategic management. Since the emergence of strategic management as a science, back in the 60-70-ies of the twentieth century, when I. Ansoff proposed the use of a model of strategic planning, it became possible to clearly define the long-term goals of the company and ways to achieve them. One of the sections of a strategic management is a strategic analysis, which aim is to assess the factors of the external and internal environment of the company, in order to determine the potential competitive advantages.

The purpose of this study is to conduct a strategic analysis of the company operating in the Moscow catering market, followed by the development of recommendations for the development of the enterprise.

Research objectives:

1. Considering the basic methods and tools of strategic analysis of the organization.

2. Defining the features of strategic management in the small enterprises.

3. Choosing the methods and tools of the strategic analysis of the organization.

4. Making the analysis of the external and internal environment of the catering company "Grado", using the methods of strategic analysis.

5. Evaluating the results of the strategic analysis of catering company "Grado", in order to determine the "problem areas" of the enterprise.

6. Developing the recommendations in order to fix the "problem areas".

The result of the study is a complete strategic analysis of the company "Grado", strategic recommendations for the development of the enterprise, based on the data of strategic analysis and the most suitable competitive strategy, based on the strengths and weaknesses of the company "Grado".
