THE ANNOTATION This research is aimed at studying the causes of unwanted behavior of the child and problem situations in parent-child relationships with the help of psychoanalytic coaching. It is assumed that unconscious internal conflicts of parents are the cause of problems arising in child-parent relationships. One of the possible solutions to the issue of improving parent-child relationships is psychoanalytic “coaching” with the help of projective technique “Family”, ‘My Parent's Family”. In 2-3 sessions this method can drastically change the parents' opinion, redirecting the parent's request, initially aimed at the child, to himself. In other words, the work starts when parent begins to realize that he is captive to his fears, complexes, and previous acquired projections, begins to change himself and his behavior. The results of the study showed that after the first session all participants began to change their request. By the end of the third session - there was an awareness of the importance to work and to find the causes of difficulties and problems in child-parent relationship within oneself. As a result of all the work done, the parents who asked for advice came to understand that they were hostages of their own fears, complexes, their own projections, unexplained internal conflicts, attitudes and scenarios.
