Features of the Career Path of Media Managers (on the Example of a Segment of the Digital Agencies)

The objective of this research is to identify career path patterns of digital agencies directors basing on the analysis of biographies of key representatives in the field of Russian online marketing. Sample design is based on ratings of the best digital agencies in 2018 according to AdIndex and Tagline. They were used to collect information on CEOs and heads of departments of the agencies presented in the ratings in order to compare them with the list of the industry key figures according to Tagline. Final sample included only those who appeared in both lists. The research resulted in defining the main career paths of digital agencies directors.
