Influence of Public Outcry on Feature Film Production and Release in American and Russian Film Industries (2017-2018)

The research is devoted to the study of the influence of public outcry on feature film production and release. The main idea was to detect this influence and to compare this influence in Russia and in the USA. In order to analyse public outcry and its influence Jeffrey Alexander's theoretical framework was used. Jurgen Habermas's concept of public sphere was partly a theoretical base of the research. The main method of the study was discourse analyses.
