Organizational Factors Hampering TTOs' Technology Transfer Activity

The paper deals with the identification of organizational factors hampering the university TTOs' technology transfer activity. Experts from 11 Russian university TTOs were interviewed to reach this aim. After the conducted analysis of the answers, troubles in the work of surveyed TTOs in the factors of mission, activities and people were identified. The identified problems are connected with the commercialization stage of technology transfer. Overall, Russian university TTOs are still not developed enough to fully commercialize IP.
