The purpose of this work is to find out how super-text unity in rapper albums is organized, and also characterize the poetic subjects in the texts of all three performers. To achieve this purpose, I need to explore the meaning of the lyrics of the rap artists, so my method of research will be the semantic analysis. In addition, for the analysis of the subjective structure of texts and super-textual unity, I will use elements of structural analysis: identification of forms of subject organization of texts, their connection in various texts, change of “points of view”, etc. As a material for the study, I will use 2 albums by each rapper: Husky, ATL and Pyrokinesis. In the course of the work, it is supposed to prove that a rap album is not just a compilation of texts united by common stylistics and themes, but it has supertextual unity, mostly at the level of unity of the poetic subject, it’s lyrical "biography ", sometimes - in lining up individual tracks into a single narrative. The work will present the theoretical part, where I describe all the literary concepts that I will work with, information about the development of hip-hop culture, and also biographies of the performers. In the practical part, analysis of their albums on the subject of supertext unity will be given.
