The Entry of Russian Defense Companies into Foreign Civil Markets, Using the Example of Radio Electronics Industry

The paper deals with the current problem for the Russian economy – diversification of production. This issue is particularly acute in the defense industry of Russia, where the goal is not just to diversify the production, but also to increase the share of civilian products. The preconditions of this problem, external and internal barriers to its solution, current global and domestic trends are analyzed. Due to the great specificity of each sphere in defense enterprises, it was decided to pay attention to the particular sector - the market of radio electronics. As one of the tools to solve the problem, the development of foreign economic activity is considered in the article. The world market, foreign trade of representative of the sphere of radio electronics, potential tools for product promotion were analyzed. Based on the received information, certain conclusions and recommendations were prepared both on radio electronics companies and on defense enterprises in general.
