This paper is devoted to the analysis of ensuring the protection of personal data from both the point of legal and technological regulation. The work describes the strengths and weaknesses of the existing norms of the law, proposed a number of measures to improve legislation in terms of legal regulation of data protection. These measures will help create a favorable environment for business development, while not violating the rights and freedoms of individual citizens.
