Improving the Last Mile Delivery Process on the Example of an Online Trading Company

This diploma paper is devoted to the analysis of the theoretical foundations of the organization of cargo transportation and the improvement of the last mile delivery process on the example of an online trading company. The aim was to introduce a new logistics service - express pickup, which will increase the level of logistics service and customer satisfaction with the services provided at the last mile stage. Based on the analysis of the company's activities, classical literature and scientific articles on the topic, an algorithm was developed for the phased introduction of the new service and the economic efficiency of the result of its implementation was calculated.
