Interpreting the World Picture in the Performances of Russian Stand Up Comedians (on the Example of Comedy Club, Stand Up, YouTube)

The theme of the research is Interpreting the World Picture in the Performances of Russian Stand Up Comedians (on the Example of Comedy Club, Stand Up, YouTube). The objective of the research is exploring the world picture, which is created with the help of stand-up comedians. The work consists of three parts: the theoretical foundations of the terms the world picture and interpretation are discussed in the first chapter. There is also the description of one of the ways to study the picture of the world. It is discourse analysis. The analysis of the history of stand up in Russia and abroad and its genre features are presented in the second chapter. The third chapter is aimed to studying the aspects of the picture of the world in the monologues of Russian stand up comedians.
