Statistical Analysis of Life Insurance in the Moscow Region

In this final qualifying work, the insurance market of the subject of the Russian Federation is investigated. The work analyzes products and life insurance contracts. The studied region was the city of Moscow. The paper considers the regional characteristics of Moscow in the context of the demographic situation, as well as the socio-economic situation. The theoretical part dealt with the fundamental components of the actuarial calculations of life insurance contracts. In the chapter on tariff calculation, a representative age range was selected for which net premiums were calculated. Features and corresponding relationships between age and the cost of contracts were identified. In the final chapter, a model was calculated that made it possible to determine the relationship between socio-economic indicators and the number of insurance premiums collected. This final qualifying paper allows to assess the potential of the life insurance market in the region. The current study has shown its versatility, which can later be applied to any other subject. The results of the final work allow us to evaluate and formulate the pledged insurance reserves of insurance companies.
