Analysis of Development Practices of Russian and Foreign Medical and Medical Technology Clusters

In this paper, the role of clusters in the innovative development of health care in the Russian Federation is considered. 5 Russian and 7 foreign medical and medical-technological clusters are investigated and classified. Based on review of international experience, recommendations for Russian clusters are identified from two points of view: “promising projects” and “successful management decisions”. A number of factors influencing the development of clusters have been identified, and a number of recommendations have been formulated for managing the development of clusters.
