Approaches to Improve Training Programs of Medical Professionals in Oncology

One of the main tasks of the Health Care system is providing the country with highly qualified medical specialists. Modernization of medical education is actively conducted in our country, but has not yet reached the necessary level and needs improvement. The aim of the study is to consider the possibility of improving the quality of training medical professionals on the example of the specialty “Oncology”. In our work was analyzed the current regulatory framework for higher professional education. The possible ways of improving the quality of training programs of medical professionals in oncology are proposed. Also we have analyzed and proposed opportunities to improve the quality of midterm control and assessment of qualification requirements, a system of specialized accreditation.
