This thesis is devoted to cross-temporal comparison of the election campaigns of two American populist presidents, Theodore Roosevelt and Donald Trump, who lived in different epochs of the development of the media. This study traces and analyzes the main methods of interaction of these presidents with voters through the media, after which these data are compared to detect possible changes caused by the development of technology and the penetration of the Internet into people's daily lives.
