Statistical Analysis of the Role of Political Globalization in Countries\' Socio-Economic Development

This study is aimed at analysing the interconnection between political globalisation and socio-economic factors. The following tasks were approached for the research: analysing theoretical framework for globalisation modelling; reviewing spatial differentiation between the countries of the world regarding the levels of globalisation; defining the influence of socio-economic factors on the levels of globalisation in groups of countries; forecasting the levels of political, economic and social globalisation; determining the dynamic relations between different dimensions of globalisation. For fulfilling the tasks, statistical and econometric tools were implemented such as k-means clustering, system of seemingly unrelated equations modelling, deriving Arellano-Bond dynamic panel model; ARIMA model specification; analysis of panel cointegration between different dimensions of globalisation.
