The Specifics of Applying Agile Methodologies to Managing a Web-application in E-Commerce Industry

This research paper focuses on the differences between Waterfall and Agile as project management methodologies for IT companies. Recommendations for small or medium-sized IT-companies are made by analysing a small digital agency called Picasel and its three e-commerce projects. Pros and cons of Agile methodologies are compared to those of the Waterfall; also, the results of the projects executed with those different methodologies are compared and the appropriate conclusions are drawn. As a result, a recommendation for companies that require agility & ability to implement new features and react to the market changes fast enough is made.
