The theoretical study was conducted by studying the historical processes of digital technology development in the Russian Federation and the world, by analyzing the literature. Practical research was conducted by the method of statistical data analysis. The purpose of the work is to identify the main areas of digital technology in the economy of the Russian Federation, the consequences of their implementation and the potential for further use. The practical value of the master's thesis is the possibility of using the analysis and theoretical research in managing the development of digital technologies.
