In recent years, systems using microcontrollers have become increasingly popular, and, due to this trend, their application appears in various fields from educational university projects to heavy industrial developments. The aim of the proposed project is to develop an automated system for monitoring the synchronism of rotation of connected drives. The project involves the development of a digital controller that will monitor the synchronous rotation of the connected drives, and be presented in the form of a microcontroller. In this paper, it is developed an algorithm that allows you to control of synchronicity of the work of no more than eight drives, and used infrared photopulse rotational speed sensors. This study may be continued by connecting more drives, improving and optimizing the PC interface program and algorithm as well as replacing existing rotating sensors with more modern ones. Finally, the developed system can be implemented at the enterprise laboratories for monitoring the synchronism of rotation drives.
