New Business-Models of Russian Online-media: the Peculiarities of Production and Consumption of Media-Content
This research is devoted to new business models of Russian online media. The main purpose of the study is to research new ways of monetization which media have and consider how profitable they are and in which way they could influence production and consumption of media content. In order to achieve the goal, we will use several methods: historical analysis which is supposed to demonstrate the genesis of modern business culture of media; interview with experts (media managers) which are necessary to understand how the topic of research is comprehended within the industry and interviews with consumers which are aiming to reveal the preferences of the audience. The object of the study is presented by business models of different Russian online media. The research is supposed to brighten up the way new business models affected contribution and production and suggest some recommendations for Russian media managers.
