This work explores the role of information and communication technologies in China in the beginning of the 21st century. Under this topic author studies specifically the transforming influence of information and communication technologies on the Chinese educational system and on the development of human potential within this system. This paper analyzes the importance of modern technologies in the country’s progress and in the educational process in particular.
