Today, the transparency of Russian companies can sometimes remain in question. Information disclosure by enterprises can significantly reduce the information asymmetry between agents and principals. It is difficult to deny that the Internet plays a large part in this phenomenon. Since a large amount of information today we get it from the world wide web. After all, the Internet facilitates the exchange of information between different groups of stakeholders. That is why it seems interesting and in demand to assess the impact of the level of information disclosure on the company's profitability. The relevance of this work shows a large number of foreign studies. At the same time, the Russian market is not so well studied on this topic, which makes this study even more popular. Therefore, it is interesting to study the Russian market on this topic. The aim of the work is to analyze the impact of the information disclosure index on the performance indicators of Russian companies. The indicators will be the return on equity and return on sales. The main idea of ​​this work is the hypothesis that the higher the indicator of openness of the company, the higher the profitability.
