The interaction of the President of the Russian Federation with state agencies has not been fully studied to date. On the one hand, de jure, the President of the Russian Federation does not belong to any branch of power, occupies the leading position. On the other hand, there is an opinion that, de facto, President of the Russian Federation is a representative of the executive branch of government. Moreover, the activity of the President of the Russian Federation on control and supervision through the system of special state agencies (in particular, the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation) is of interest both from a legal point of view and from the point of view of its coverage in the media. This study examines the role of the presidency in the state power system and governance in the Russian Federation. The work is based on the analysis of legal acts and scientific articles. In addition, the paper includes a qualitative and quantitative analysis of data obtained from the Factiva (information and research tool). The main finding of this work is that, based on the above data, the public image of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation is determined. This study attempts to contribute to an understanding of how the activities of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation are carried out.
