Development of Analytical Solution for Inventory Management. Case Study of Company "Ozon"

This paper discusses the problem of determining the assortment matrixes for the warehouses of an online store distribution network using the example of Ozon. The first chapter provides an analysis of the economic and logistical activities of the company, identifies the problems of logistics and the company's inventory management process. In the second, the methods and tools for solving the problem of distributing stocks in a distribution network are compared. As a result of a comparative analysis, it was determined that the mathematical programming method implemented using PyMathProg in the Python language is the best alternative. On the basis of the selected methods and tools, an approach is developed to solve the problem of optimizing the warehouse assortment matrices in the company. The third chapter is devoted to the implementation of the approach in practice, the features of its implementation, as well as the assessment of its economic efficiency.
