Analysis of the Current State of Family Business in Russia

This paper on the current state of family business in Russia was written by a student of group 17 PR of the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Nizhny Novgorod, Zilberman Victoria. This work consists of 86 pages. It has 3 applications, 6 figures and 28 tables. In the theoretical part of this work, the author examines the process of forming the concept of family business in Russia since the revival of business in Russia in the 90s of the last century. Further, the author lists the advantages and disadvantages of family entrepreneurship, and at the end of the chapter indicates the current socio-demographic trends and their role in entrepreneurship. By these trends, the author attributes: an increase in life expectancy, changes in the gender composition of entrepreneurs, especially the continuity in the family business. In the second chapter, the author of this work presents the methodology of his research, then his results and their interpretation. Based on the studied theory and analysis, the author draws conclusions about the current state of family business in Russia, namely the age structure, gender, as well as the current approach of Russian family entrepreneurs to issues of business continuity.
