Student: Karymov Vladislav

Supervisor:

Faculty: Faculty of Economics

Educational Programme: Finance (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2019

The football industry is growing at an average of 7.3% per year. Significant growth in recent years has attracted investors from around the world, which increases investment in football teams. However, the goals of a football club, in the classical sense, imply the achievement of a sports result, and not making money. To date, the flow of significant funds into the football industry creates a demand for a system of effective management and use of resources, especially for teams that are not top teams due to the lack of wealthy majority investors. Within the framework of the work, the relationship of financial and sports results is considered, a review of foreign literature on this topic is conducted. In addition, the activities of the football club are comprehensively described and the effectiveness of football clubs is assessed.
