Norse mythology is a rich source for many plots and characters in modern mass culture. This fact can be explained by good livability of the nordic folklore, multidinous medieval manuscripts and warm reaction from our contemporaries. Of cource there are many different interpretations of nordic myth in every century. The heroes and villians from the depths of unrecorded time was provided by personality traits of modern people, also they solved different modern problrms. It is very interesting to investigate the evolution of mass culture visual language during the XX-XXI centuries.
