The aim of this study was to identify the factors of formation of different models of managers’ behavior and the impact of different models on the attitudes, behavior of subordinates and performance indicators. In a large organization with a complex structure and many activities, there is a variety of leadership styles, three styles were identified – transformational-relational, democratic and directive, we confirmed their impact on various aspects of work. It is important for managers to develop their management skills, use different leadership styles, be able to respond flexibly to changing conditions and manage behavior depending on the situation and environment, as they are the key links in the success of the organization. It is the behavior of the leader that determines not only the perception of the organization by employees, but also the efficiency, and consequently the profitability and competitiveness of the company.
