Creation of Infrastructure Organizations for Intellectual Property Management in the Holding Structures of the Defense Industry

In the final qualifying work, a study of the problems of intellectual property (IP) management in the holding structures of the military-industrial complex (MIC) was conducted. The aim of the work is the economic and theoretical justification for the creation of holding structures in the defense industry infrastructure organizations for IP management. Within the framework of the work, a set of organizational, managerial and economic relations arising in the process of formation of the mechanism of intellectual property management in the holding structures of the defense industry is considered. Theoretical bases and specificity of is management are revealed. The analysis of the effectiveness of IP management on the example of the holding structure of the defense industry in terms of valuation of IA, the number of patents, organizational structure and internal regulatory framework, as well as legal issues to regulate the consolidation and distribution of IP rights. The definition of the IP management system is given, the main tasks and functionality to be performed are defined. Also, in order to compare the SUIS, a comparative analysis of the leading holding structures of the defense industry with global players on the world stage. It is established that the share of intangible assets of Russian holding structures is significantly lower than foreign enterprises from the same field of activity.
