Nowadays it is difficult to imagine the world without design, especially without fashion design and it influences people’s lives. The appearance and self- representation play a very important role in it. With a growing problem of fast fashion and fast consumption, a lot of designers began to offer people new technologies and methods of using fabrics in clothes, like recycling, zero waste and others. And one of the ideas of future fashion brand is transformer clothes, which each person can transform and integrate to their wardrobe and change looks throughout the day or day to night.
The method which was chosen for this study is content analysis which allowed to research and examine iconic day and night looks of the 20th century for the constructive part of the collection, using various visual aids of culture, such as fashion magazines, fashion shootings, illustrations, advertising campaigns, catalogs, documentary chronics and movies. For this method the entire period of the 20th century was divided into 3 main parts: from 1910 to 1930, from 1940 to 1960, from 1970 to 1990. The results of research was combined with modern trends and an additional inspiration for a fashion collection and a new fashion brand as the main purpose of this study.
