This final qualifying paper on the topic of Comparative Analysis of the Status of Online Trade and Online Shopping Development in Russia and the USA is divided into two parts. In the first chapter, the author identifies the theoretical foundations of online commerce and highlights the main business models in this sphere, and describes the key players of online commerce in Russia and the United States.In the second part of the work, the author conducted a detailed analysis of online commerce in Russia and the United States and studied the state policy in the field of Internet commerce regulation. In addition to this, the second chapter assesses the effectiveness of the two online stores (Amazon and Wildberries.ru), which revealed the main differences in the policies of these two stores. The main purpose of this work is to analyze how the online trading markets of Russia and the United States operate and work, and what advantages they give to consumers and sellers. In order to achieve this goal, the theoretical nature of online trading was identified, as well as its features. Besides was analyzed the activities of the companies Amazon and Wildberries, and conducted a SWOT analysis of these companies. This was followed by an assessment of the effectiveness of these companies and e-Commerce in General (in Russia and the United States). Then, an assessment of the effectiveness of these companies and the Internet trade as a whole (in Russia and the USA) was made. The main conclusion drawn from the results of this study is the fact that e-commerce has many advantages over any other trade and has a significant impact on the economies of countries. In addition, online stores are actively developing and will continue to develop, creating convenient and favorable conditions for both consumers and entrepreneurs.
